THESE BENGALI LADIES ARE WEARING THE TYPICAL BRIGHT COLORS.

Older Lady not wanting to breathe fumes or dust!

This is what typically happens at a Bengali wedding.  People come to eat a nice meal and sit to have photos taken with the bride or groom. This was a Bihari girl marrying a Bengali guy.  Sorry, for no cropping or editing of photos recently.  I am just recovering from a hard drive crash and am trying to catch up on my one photo a day goal.

Dressed up for the occasion!

Saying good-bye isn’t always easy!

Yes, another rain photo!

This lady in Mymensingh isn’t going to wait for the water to disappear before crossing the street.

Tarnima Warda Andalib with her Mother at a photo exhibition at Drik Gallery.  The two photos of hers in the exhibit were taken at Kuakata in Southern Bangladesh.  She will be missed at the TTL photoclub safaris and photowalks since she is now in Malaysia working on her Ph.D.

Tarnima and her Mother at the Third Eye Photography Society’s “71 Snaps International Photography Exhibition 2012!”

This is a great spot for portraits.  I was introducing them to their Bangla Language Instructor, and couldn’t resist stopping here for a photo.

You may have noticed I’ve been behind in posting photos.  I had a hard drive crash on my laptop which had Lightroom4 on it (my fav editing and organizing program).  Thus I have to catching up to do.  Many of the photos may only be having some cropping happening but not much editing!

Jon and Fannie!

A photo taken at Kuakata Beach.  The photographer was using the motorcycle driver for the foreground of a sunrise shot.
