Teething Daughter

Young mother enjoying a lunch at local coffee shop with her two children!

I’d love feedback on which photo you would choose, if I only posted one? Thanks in advance!

Thinking of my mother today, since it is the anniversary of the day, a year ago, that we laid her to rest! She taught us the love of puzzling, which is a pleasant memory I had putting puzzles together with my sister, Lillian in August of this year, while vacationing in California!

My most memorable photo of 2021, and likely my favorite as well. It is a photo of my Aunt and Uncle at the cemetery during the interment of my Mother! Hope you all have a great year in 2022

My Uncle Christ, and Aunt Betty (his wife) mourning the loss of my Mother at the her internment!

We had a short and sweet birthday party, with just my wife and I attending! All my siblings attended via Zoom, thus they missed the cake and ice cream! Great to see her having fun and enjoying herself! I decide to pose with her, and she had to clown around! 🙂

She settled down when I grabbed the camera!

My wife and Mother!

My Mother gave my son a birthday gift bag. He had fun looking at everything, very much like my mother likes to do when she receives a bag full of gifts! Our grandson looks on.

I picked up this young lad, his siblings and Mom, to take them home. His young cousin stepped up to the window to talk to me. He asked me what I do at home! It made my day. He was a young fella that I also had as a passenger many times with and without his parents. It made my day that he wanted to chat with the taxi driver. Maybe it helps that I give the children “smarties” when they ride with me!
When I called to schedule a visit at the assisted living facility where my 97-year-old Mother is, they said, “We were just talking about your mother!” At the table during a meal, one of the residents was crying, and my Mother got up out of her chair, went over to the lady and gave her a big hug. Wow, how sweet is that? I had a nice visit with her on the porch. She said, “I would give you a “howdy do” handshake but I think it is against the rules!” LOL

Ready for guests. These plates, my wife got from her mother!

Christmas Day!
