Do You Like Your Hot Sauce Hot or Mild?

My favorite restaurant in Dhaka (Nando’s) gives you a choice for your sauces from no spice to very hot! They serve some great chicken. This photo is of some of their wall decor!

THIS IS A GREAT SPOT IF YOU LIKE PORTUGUESE PERI-PERI CHICKEN COOKED BY THIS SOUTH AFRICAN CHAIN RESTAURANT. IT IS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!  Here is the menu in the UK: http://www.nandos.co.uk/themenu), which doesn’t differ much from the one I love in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

FIVE YEARS IN BANGLADESH

SOMETIME IN OUR FIRST YEAR I PICKED UP THIS STICKER AT PIZZA HUT”S CELEBRATION OF 5 YEARS IN BANGLADESH!

I hoped to be able to celebrate 5 years in Bangladesh like Pizza Hut did.

We celebrated by bringing in Chinese food from the Midnight Sun restaurant.

My wish to be in Bangladesh at least five years came true!! Whoopeee!

Day 283

McDONALD’S FAMILY RESTAURANT!  This is how it is spelled in Bangla.  This was the sign for McDonald’s on Park St. in Kolkata.  Their fries are just as tasty as anywhere in the world, that McDonald’s has a restaurant.

Day 180

HERE IS ONE WAY NAPKINS WERE folded like flowers at the Forest Green Restaurant in Syhlet, Bangladesh.

Day 167

HOTEL GREEN IN TOWN HALL MARKET was where my friend and I had a great breakfast of curried beef, bhaji, and nan ruti.  Little restaurants are called hotels.  Actually this is one of the few that actually has rooms.  This photo shows the hotel from across the street.  I went back this afternoon to get this photo so you don’t see the action out front making the porotas and nan ruti.

More wrap-up things today, four more morning walks, farewells and Sunday evening at 10 heading for the airport.
