Enjoyed Walt’s Fish Market and Restaurant in Sarasota, Fl.
Enjoyed an evening out with some “Old” friends from Ohio, while in Sarasota. Besides the fellowship the Tuna Salad Bowl and Fish Platter were a bonus! Walt didn’t talk too much as I waited outside the restaurant for a table! Not sure if that is how the original owner looked or not! There was a menu on his lap so we could check out the options.

The morning of Christmas, 2015, our family came to the table and this is what was in store for them. In the 50’s this was the extent of our Christmas gifts. Each person had something on their breakfast plate! I decided to throw in a flashlight which would have been splurging in the yesteryear! Mounds was always my favorite candy bar. The Bounty bar available in Bangladesh is very similar. It was also different, celebrating Christmas in Fort Myers Beach in Florida! The personal napkin “rings” were a contribution of my 92-yr-old Mother!
With the warm week we had, homemade ice cream would have been a treat. I found this photo, as I was looking through my files. Then I realized it was taken with my camera, but my son was the photographer! He loves to borrow my Canon 7D camera with the 50mm 1.4 lens!
